1. Data we collect
We collect the information athletes, recruiters and institutions provide during sign up, onboarding and ongoing use — including identity, contact details, performance data, video links and (for youth athletes) parent or guardian contact information.
2. How we use it
Athlete data is used to build verified profiles, generate analytics and AI summaries, and (when public) make profiles discoverable to recruiters. Recruiter data is used to enable search, shortlists and contact features.
3. Youth athletes
Profiles for athletes under 18 require a verified parent or guardian contact and explicit consent before any public profile is published.
4. Storage & security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is controlled by row-level security policies. Payment information is handled exclusively by PayPal — Rapid Sports never sees full card details.
5. Sharing
We never sell athlete data. Public profiles are visible only when an athlete (or guardian) explicitly opts in. Private profiles are visible only to the athlete and their authorised analyst team.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time via admin@rapidsportss.com. We respond within 30 days.
7. Contact
For privacy questions: admin@rapidsportss.com
8. Payment data (PayPal)
When you pay through Rapid Sports, your card and bank details are collected and processed by PayPal directly under PayPal's Privacy Statement. Rapid Sports receives only a transaction id, the amount, currency, payer email, and PayPal's status updates via webhook. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials.
9. Jurisdiction
Rapid Sports operates from the Republic of Namibia. Personal data may be processed and stored in data centres outside Namibia and Zimbabwe (including the European Union and the United States) by our infrastructure providers. We rely on contractual safeguards with these providers to protect your data.
Draft notice: This document is a working draft pending review by qualified legal counsel in Namibia and Zimbabwe. It does not constitute legal advice.
